Biography

Meghan is a partner in Lynch & Eatman, L.L.P. Her practice is focused on estate planning. She works with individuals from a wide variety of backgrounds to address their estate planning goals and concerns, including tax, blended and nontraditional family situations, beneficiaries who are minors or who have special needs or substance abuse issues, and charitable goals. She regularly prepares and advises clients regarding Wills, revocable trusts, powers of attorney, health care powers of attorney and advance directives. She assists with estate administration for her estate planning clients. She also provides services for tax-exempt organizations, including formation of tax-exempt entities and applications for federal tax-exempt status.

Meghan grew up in North Carolina, and after graduating from UNC School of Law, she practiced as a civil litigator with Cranfill Sumner & Hartzog LLP. She then practiced in-house at SAS Institute Inc. before joining Lynch & Eatman, L.L.P.

Meghan was elected and served as Secretary of the Wake County Bar Association and Tenth Judicial District Bar for three consecutive terms from 2016 to 2018. She currently serves on the Wake County Bar Association’s Public Service Committee and is Secretary of the North Carolina Bar Association’s Minorities in the Profession Committee. She has volunteered with Legal Aid's Lawyer on the Line Program and participates in the North Carolina Bar Association's Call4All program.

She has been selected for inclusion in Business North Carolina’s Legal Elite for Estate and Tax Planning and in North Carolina Super Lawyers for Estate Planning & Probate.
